Founder Story
Founder Craig Matthew Walker is a devoted husband to his wife, Holly, and a proud father of three. For most of his career, Craig focused on helping others—but life-changing events in 2020 shifted his purpose forever.
The impact of COVID-19, combined with the loss of his role and a devastating flood that destroyed much of his home, forced Craig to pause and reflect on what truly mattered. In the middle of uncertainty and loss, one thing became clear: time with his children and making a difference in young lives meant everything.
Coaching youth sports reignited his passion. The connection with student-athletes, families, and communities brought a level of fulfillment he had never experienced before. Those moments revealed a greater purpose—one rooted in impact, connection, and service.
The word Phenom means someone who is outstanding or gifted. Craig believes greatness lives in everyone. Phenom X was created to help ignite that greatness—not only in student-athletes, but in parents, coaches, referees, and the communities that support them.
